the divided world...

And all my days are trances,
And all my nightly dreams
Are where thy grey eye glances,
And where thy footstep gleams--
In what ethereal dances,
By what eternal streams.

I love your Poe mood these days, Gypsywoman. I've been reading lots of Poe, lately. There's something about the combination of fall weather and Poe that is just intoxicating. Beautiful image, too! Thanks for bringing these lovely dreams to us!

Another fantastic image. I suppose we're going to learn that you have actually painted or photographed all of these becausew you don't need to sleep!

Oh the mood is deliciously dark. I can so relate to the first line. Many times I feel this way....I call it robotic mode.

"In what ethereal dances,
By what eternal streams." ~ this is wonderful. I can envision Paradise Lost within those lines.

yes, the words i think cannot help but stir us all - well, those of us with hearts :)

beautiful moving wordpictures!

I think She Poet would be functioning on the spiritual right hand side brain circuit when she enters her *robotic mode* and leaves behind the "basic activities of human existence."

The image is perfect. I love this. I have a thing for old, dead trees as well, so that just added to the experience for me. Thank you, GYPSYWOMAN!
Much Love,
Deborah
