the illusion...
What is life?
A madness.
What is life?
An illusion,
a shadow,
a story.
And the
greatest good
is little enough;
for all
life is a dream,
and dreams themselves
are only dreams.

I think of Poe's 'A Dream Within a Dream' when I read this. So dark and sad but I can relate to this more than you know. What is Life? A madness. Yes! ...And the greatest good is little enough. Whoa. Deep.
Thanks GW and I hope you don't mind me mentioning on my blog today :)
oh, i just went over to your place and sat spell-bound with the beauty of your post! it's simply wonderful - magical mystical moving - perfect!
thanks so much for being such a devoted follower over here -
and have a great weekend!
and how could one mind such an honor?
Gypsywoman, I relate entirely to these words, especially "...and dreams themselves are only dreams." Illusion - disillusion... a vicious circle that never ends.
Nevine
I agree with Nevine. It's where we live, isn't it...those dreams? Hard separating when there is not clean line...
Much Love,
Deborah
I LOVED THIS ONE =]
beautifully written
oh, thank you so much earth-ling - please come again soon!
nevine - yes - the neverending circle -
yes, it is so hard to tell the difference, isn't it deborah! even when "awake" - i've had dreams of someone that were so intense that when i awoke i truly could still smell their scent - you know? and how is that? which was the dream? dreams are just another place we exist and are ourselves -
